The Avera Race Against Breast Cancer

Besties for Breasties

In October of 2014 I was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer at the age of 30. From the moment of diagnosis through all of my various treatments, Avera has provided me with phenomenal care. Through support and encouragement of friends and family, in October of 2015 I became an Avera Think Pink Lady to help spread breast cancer awareness to my community. While I never would have imagined I would be a breast cancer survivor, I have been so blessed by the care and services I received at Avera. I am honored to be a Pink Lady and to continue supporting Avera's efforts in the fight against cancer. Please consider joining or donating to my team for the Avera Race Against Breast Cancer!

Over $3.8 million has been raised by the Avera Race since its inception to enhance cancer care for the people we love. Great programs and services including the wig program, genomic research, support groups, cancer fitness, integrative medicine, and so much more. These programs and services do not exclusively benefit those with breast cancer. As part of my participation, I have committed to raising at least $2,000 to support the Avera Race. Please join my team in the fight against cancer by supporting my participation. It’s easy to make a difference, just click the button on the right to make a donation.

This year my team will also be able to sport team shirts. If you are interested in purchasing a team shirt, please visit https://www.customink.com/g/tdn0-00ax-t9b3 and get yours ordered today!

I sincerely appreciate your support! GO BESTIES FOR BREASTIES!
